Check the lights: Ensure all of your car's lights are functioning properly, including headlights, brake lights, turn signals, and fog lights.
Check the tyres: Make sure the tread depth is at least 1.6mm across the central ¾ of the tyre, and there are no cuts, bulges, or other damage.
Inspect the brakes: Ensure the brake pads and discs are in good condition and there are no unusual noises or vibrations when braking.
Test the horn: Make sure your car's horn is working correctly.
Check the windscreen: Inspect the windscreen for any cracks or chips. If you find any, they should not obstruct the driver's view.
Check wipers and washers: Ensure the wipers and washers are working properly and the wiper blades are in good condition.
Verify the fluids: Check the levels of engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, and windshield washer fluid. Top up if necessary.
Inspect the exhaust system: Look for any leaks, excessive smoke, or abnormal noises from the exhaust system.
Check the suspension and steering: Make sure there is no excessive play or vibrations when turning the steering wheel and that the suspension components are in good condition.
